NIght Skies

Night skies have a depth that is not possible in the brilliance of the sun.
They carry the mystery and dreams of generations untold.

Deep thoughts,
Hopes, prayers, and longings
of those stargazers
who have lifted their eyes
in awe and wonder to the night sky.

It sparkles with star-wishes
Romance
Fortune
Peace
Purpose
Belief in a better tomorrow, after the night has past.

The mystery of the dark sky is matched
By the darkness of their own, unknowns.
Desire for answers, clarity, Faith;
And the reason for their existence.

Jesus sat with His disciples and told them:
To you, it has been given to know the
Hidden mysteries of the Kingdom of God.

“Oh Lord, open my(our) eyes to see
Visions of the eternal in the ordinary.
Presence, in the midst of commonplace.
Jesus on the Dusty road of my life’s journey.
The Bethlehem Star, in my night-sky.”
